Here are a few of the projects we have completed over the years. We would like to thank all of the friends and benefactors who have helped us so devotedly since we moved here in 2002. We could not take care of the convent without you! Thank you also to the generous contractors, supply houses, equipment rental companies and other professionals who have helped us over the years. Outside strikers and controller for bells, new sacristy floor, other sacristy improvements, replacement of driveway, replacement of sidewalk in the courtyard, painting of transept tower, re-roofing of the east side of Priest Quarters roof
2021-2022:
Fence and wall replacement, privacy slats
2021:
Start of new shower wall project, re-roofing of the northwest corner of convent roof
2020:
Start of upgrade to LED lights, tuck-pointing of chimney, replacement of domestic hot water boiler, installation of exhaust fan system for hydronic boilers, tub-cut kits for some bathtubs
2019:
Installation of new security cameras, installation of alarm system, re-roofing of southwest corner of convent building and priest quarters, installation of new compression tank for boiler
2017:
Start of electrical panel replacement, expansion of library
2016:
Donation of spalted maple communion rail, re-roofing of portions of the convent roof
2015:
Installation of donated phone system, removal of asphalt parking lot and collapsed east retaining wall, re-grading of east hill
2014:
Fence installed along south retaining wall, south window wells raised, storm drains re-routed, southeast perimeter fence improvements
2011-2012:
Replacement of downspouts and storm water lines in courtyard and along west side of convent, French drain for south retaining wall, new roof for garage and mow shed
2010:
Tuck-pointing of center wing, installation of security lights around the entire building
2009:
Repair of bulging brick layers on corner of center wing
2007-2008:
Marble altar installed; Replacement of chapel roof and bell tower roof, repair or replacement of chapel gutters, installation of new snow pans, replacement of flat roof over elevator; chapel painting- all complete except transept tower, tuck-pointing of most of chapel and bell tower, new boiler controller and zone bypasses installed
2005-2006:
Replacement of hot and cold plumbing lines as well as drains and vents from basement floor to attic: 8,220 feet of copper lines installed (to save money, the Sisters hauled out the debris,) several new donated metal exterior doors installed, start of replacement of flooring in various areas by volunteers and contractors, start of painting of various areas in the convent by Sisters and volunteers, remodeling of cells
2002-2004:
Installation of new boilers and replacement of flat roof; volunteers repaired plumbing fixtures (only one sink, a few toilets, and one tub worked properly when we arrived) Three-year deep clean of building
